Voxler develops innovative interfaces for digital entertainment
and especially applications in the growing field of affective computing for video games,
smart toys, virtual musical instruments and Karaoke systems. Voxler designs multimodal interaction systems which replace or augment traditional keyboards & game pads to offer a more natural interface of control.

Voxler core technologies are digital signal processing libraries
to process and interpret sensor information. Voxler has a patented voice signal processing environment which analyses the expressivity characteristics of singing and spoken voice, and provides this set of parameters in realtime to control a video game, a toy or a musical instrument with your voice.

Voxler’s expertise is centered around the mapping issues
both « Level 1 » mapping to infer high level features (or vocal gestures) from low level digital signal processing parameters, and level 2 mapping to build targeted applicative interfaces based on appropriate aggregates of these low and high level parameters. Voxler has several products currently under development for the toys industry, the musical industry and the videogames industry and is continuously working on the improvement of its core technology.
